Histon & Impington CLT was incorporated in September 2020. The group’s aim is to give the people who live or work in the villages more say over how to develop locally and in ways that could benefit the whole community.

Eastern Community Homes is providing support as they develop their membership and the group who will drive the CLT forward.

We also supporting with identifying land (where the group is competing with private developers and housing associations) and with advice on how to negotiate with talking to potential partners and landowners.

Separately, Cambridgeshire ACRE has supported the identification of hidden housing need in the villages through the undertaking of a housing needs survey sponsored through the Cambridgeshire Rural Affordable Housing Partnership.
